Chris Nolan, Founder of Spot-On
Stand-alone journalist Chris Nolan founded Spot-On in 2003. With more than 20 years reporting experience, Nolan's work is well known to tech-savvy and politically astute readers. Her weekly Silicon Valley column, "Talk is Cheap," debuted in 1997 at the beginnings of the Internet stock boom and was well regarded for its humor, insight and news value. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New Republic, Fortune, Business 2.0 and Conde Nast Traveler.
Nolan speaks frequently on technology, politics and media, as well as the impact of stand alone journalism — a phrase she coined to describe the web-based writing of experienced and professional journalists.
